ETHNIC CLEANSING OF JEWS

Long ago, back in the USSR, I discovered (from the academic publication «Number and Settlement of the Peoples of the World,» edited by Academician Brook) that 800,000 Jews «disappeared» from Arab countries in the 1940s and 1950s. Another 100,000 «disappeared» from Turkey, 80,000 from Iran, and so on. While in Israel, I learned from the Israeli Statistical Handbook that during the same period, 500,000 Jews from Arab countries entered Israel, plus 200,000 from other Eastern countries. It turned out that most of these Jews left the places where their ancestors had settled long before the Islamic conquest, against their will. And that they left behind property in Arab countries that is 10 times greater than the property abandoned by Palestinian refugees in Israel… According to the Statistical Handbook, approximately the same number of Jews arrived in Israel from European countries. These were Holocaust survivors. Entire cities in Europe, populated by Jews, fell into the hands of European owners, private and public, after World War II. No one except Germany paid the surviving Jews any compensation for lost property, let alone reparations for those murdered… Palestinian refugees and their descendants received and continue to receive «compensation» instead of reparations being paid to us, the victims of the Holocaust and refugees from the East. The Palestinians should make claims for the property lost 78 years ago not to Israel, but to the Arab League and the European Union. And a little to Turkey and Iran. Palestinians are also obligated to pay reparations to Israelis whose relatives they killed over the past 100 years. Even before the 20th century, many Jews were killed by Palestinian Arabs—more precisely, by Muslims, as Christian Palestinians did not participate in the ethnic cleansing of Jews in Palestine.
